7 years of service
Doreen is our beautician. She has been making the residents, as well as staff, look and feel good for 7 years. She states that she loves everyone here at the Manor, staff, residents, and volunteers; “they are my extended family.” Doreen lives in Gillett, PA with her husband, David, of 42 years, and their daughter Meghan. Doreen and David also have a son, Lucas. Doreen enjoys gardening and creating beautiful water gardens. She loves watching the animals when they walk up to her back porch and help themselves to an apple or two. In the beauty shop, she has fish tanks with all kinds of exotic fish. She also has a frog that the residents enjoy watching while getting their hair done. The residents and staff love to go to “the gathering place” as the beauty shop has become known as, to just talk with and visit Doreen. Doreen also volunteers here in her spare time. She is a very compassionate and loving person. We are blessed to have her as a part of our family.
